VAKS left Fursenko under arrest with a bail of UAH 95 million

The Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court confirmed the arrest of Ihor Fursenko in the case of energy corruption. He will be in custody until January 8, with the possibility of bail of 95 million hryvnias. “According to the results of the review, the panel of judges of the AP VAX dismissed the appeals of the defense and prosecution parties without satisfaction, and the decision of the investigating judge of the VAX remained unchanged. The decision entered into force from the moment of its announcement and is not subject to appeal in the cassation procedure,” the message said.

Currently, the bail has not been paid, so Fursenko remains in custody, and a number of procedural duties have been assigned to him.

Ihor Fursenko, executive security director of “Energoatom”, who appears in the “Midas” case under the call sign “Ryoshik”, returned to Ukraine only five days before his detention.
