On October 24, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court passed a decision on confiscation in favor of the state of the assets of the former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vitaly Zakharchenko, who held the position in 2011-2014.
The decision was made within the framework of the Law “On Sanctions”, the press service of the court reported.
The court recognized the demands of the Ministry of Justice as well-founded and decided to transfer a number of Zakharchenko’s assets to state income. In particular:

funds in bank accounts in the amount of UAH 157.62 thousand;
-
an apartment in the Pechersk district of Kyiv with an area of 160.7 square meters. m.
In addition, the property issued to his relatives was confiscated:

an apartment in the Pechersk district of Kyiv with an area of 75.2 square meters. m;
-
2/5 share in the right of ownership of the building of the bath and laundry plant with an area of 404.2 square meters. m in Donetsk;
-
two basement premises in Donetsk with a total area of 214.1 square meters. m;
-
an apartment in Donetsk with an area of 138.5 square meters. m;
-
100% share in the authorized capital of Sun De Lyon LLC.
VAX noted that the decision can be challenged in the appeal procedure.
Earlier, the court confiscated the luxury car of an official of the migration service, recorded on the mother.
It was also reported that the head of one of the Departments of the State Department of Internal Affairs in the Odesa region is accused of intentionally entering notoriously inaccurate information in the declaration for more than UAH 83 million.
