The native of the Russian Federation was sentenced to the facts of state betrayal, preparation for diversion and illegal purchase and storage of ammunition. He was imposed on the form of a prison for 13 years with confiscation of all proper property.
Prosecutors proved that the convicted person cooperated with the special services of the Russian Federation and assisted in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine. He photographed the objects of critical infrastructure in the territory of Transcarpathia and neighboring regions and transferred the enemy together with Geodany. To do this, he took rail tickets and fix objects on the route. Before that, the man received clear requirements for their categories and methods of data fixing from foreign curators.
Since 2014, he has lived in Ukraine, in particular the last few years has rented housing in the Berehiv district, from where he continued to engage in illegal activities. Two days after the full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of our country, the man was exposed and detained thanks to the coordinated work of law enforcement officers of the region. Since then, he has been in custody, where he will be entrusted with the entry into force.
