“This is the first and last post on the topic of arms procurement. There is a lot of talk about the purchase of weapons for the army, but the result is unsatisfactory. I made a decision to remove everyone who failed this job: 1. I am submitting a petition to the Cabinet of Ministers for the dismissal of my deputy – Dmytro Klimenkov. 2. The Ministry of Defense is not renewing the contract with Maryna Bezrukova,” he said.

“Unfortunately, over the past six months, instead of providing the army with ammunition in a timely manner, we have received political games, “drains” of contracts, “drains” of information (law enforcement officers will definitely check these facts), PR inaction and non-fulfillment of the CRI by the subordinate enterprise of the MOU,” Umyerov said.
According to him, arms procurement, which should be closed during martial law and a full-scale war with Russia, “for some reason has turned into an Amazon, where every Internet user can see in real time who and what is buying, in what quantities and from whom manufacturers”.
“And the scale of these purchases, which would be at least commensurate with PR in the media, our defenders at the front did not feel… We are changing the system so that the result is at the front, not in the news,” the minister informed.
