In the southern, eastern and central regions of Ukraine, drought continues, which complicates the sowing of winter crops.
The most critical situation is in Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv regions and in Dnipropetrovsk.
During the second decade of September, the country prevailed in the weather, but there were almost no effective rains in the affected regions.
According to the Ukrhydromet Center, the arable soil layer remains quite dry, which creates adverse conditions for the preparation of areas and winter sowing.
Recall that in September the average monthly air temperature in Ukraine is forecast from 13-18 degrees, precipitation is expected 37-76 mm, which is close to normal.
Also on September 23, Ukrainians will say goodbye to Grandma’s summer.
