The State Ukreximbank has announced the termination of instant money transfers from June 23, 2025 through international Western Union and Moneygrams.
This was reported in the official address of the bank.
The reason for this decision was not specified. According to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of April 2025, Ukreximbank ranked third among all banks of the country in terms of assets – UAH 311.8 billion.
We will remind, at the end of 2024 the National Bank of Ukraine put Privatbank State Public Code for the amount of UAH 1.7 million.
Earlier, the NBU fined Krystalbank and the Akordbank for 400 thousand UAH each. The reason The regulator on compliance with the law on the laundering of the funds obtained and for violation of currency legislation, respectively, began to fail to provide reliable information in full.
