It is noted that until the end of the day, capacity limitation schedules for industrial consumers continue to apply in all regions.
Some areas have emergency outage schedules – they are not hourly outage schedules that provide clear time frames.
Introduction of emergency shutdown schedules occurs in emergency cases, when it is necessary to quickly reduce the amount of power consumed from the network. The duration of the blackout cannot be predicted.
On the morning of October 16, in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine, due to the night attacks of Russian terrorists on the energy infrastructure, there was already introduced schedules of emergency power outages, but they were later canceled.
On October 15, due to the difficult situation in the unified energy system of Ukraine, in all regions except Donetsk and part of Chernihiv regions, there were applied emergency power outages.
