July 22

On Tuesday, July 22, solar activity with K-Index 1.7 (green level) is expected, which corresponds to weak magnetic storms.

July 23

On Wednesday, July 23, solar activity with K-Index 5 (red level) is expected, which corresponds to a strong magnetic storm capable of affecting the well-being and health of weather dependent people.

July 24th

On Thursday, July 24, solar activity with K-index 4 (yellow level) is expected, which corresponds to the average magnetic storm.

It is important to note that magnetic storms forecasts can change as solar activity researchers update their data every three hours. Therefore, we recommend that you regularly follow the changes, all the up -to -date information is below:

What is a magnetic storm

A magnetic storm is a phenomenon caused by regular flashes and explosions in the sun, which resulted in a considerable amount of solar energy. It consists of charged particles (protons and electrons), which move rapidly in different directions, including to the Earth. When they reach the Earth’s magnetosphere, activity occurs, which scientists are called magnetic storms or solar storms.

To distinguish magnetic storms, the power level is used, known as K-indexes. The fluctuations in parts from K-index 1 to K-index 4 are considered insignificant and often go unnoticed to the Earth’s inhabitants. Any magnetic storms that exceed K-Index 5 are classified as red-level brown, which can most affect a person’s life and lead to a decrease in overall well-being. In addition, high -level magnetic storms such as cellular towers, satellites, radio frequencies and GPRS may be malfunctioning. Magnetic storms that reach K-index 7 or 8 can be observed.

Magnetic storms affect atmospheric pressure, because of which some people may experience headache, fatigue and stress. There are no special medicines for magnetic storms, but by overcoming the symptoms with the help of ordinary medicines, you can relieve your condition.
