Ukrainians spent more than UAH 11 billion on “Winter Support”

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko reported that citizens have already spent UAH 11.3 billion within the framework of the “Winter Support” program. Most of the funds are directed to the payment of communal services — about 80% of all costs.

According to the government, 17.8 million Ukrainians applied for and received aid, of which 3.5 million were children. Payments under the program have been made at 100%, the funds can be used until June 30, 2026.

At the same time, payments in the amount of UAH 6,500 continue for vulnerable categories of the population. 374,367 people have already received them, having spent UAH 1.1 billion mainly on clothes and shoes for adults and children.

Svyridenko also emphasized that there are other state support programs for the winter period in Ukraine, in particular: assistance for residents of frontline areas and internally displaced persons, compensation of 100 kW of electricity per person every month in the cold period, payments for firewood, as well as energy efficiency support programs for businesses, private houses and condominiums.

Payments under the “Winter Support” program are ongoing. 13.7 million Ukrainians have already received assistance in the amount of UAH 1,000.

Also the Cabinet of Ministers continued “Natskeshbek” and “Winter support” until the middle of 2026.
