According to the results of this year’s declaration campaign, citizens of Ukraine declared total income of UAH 326 billion, which is 107 billion more than last year.

In total, more than 170 thousand declarations were filed, the largest share of which was the residents of the capital – the people of Kiev declared more than UAH 156 billion.
The three leaders’ regions in terms of declared income were included:
- Dnipropetrovsk region – almost UAH 30 billion,
- Lviv – 18.2 billion UAH,
- Kiev – UAH 17.5 billion.
Among the sources of income, the largest amounts came from:
- foreign revenues – UAH 34.2 billion,
- inheritance and gift – UAH 13.6 billion,
- sales of movable and immovable property – UAH 6.8 billion,
- investment – UAH 4.9 billion,
- rent – UAH 3.4 billion,
- Other sources – UAH 4 billion.
The number of officially declared millionaires reached more than 17 thousand – 6.6 thousand more than last year. The total income of this category amounted to UAH 253.6 billion, of which 8.7 billion should be paid as taxes.
The absolute record this year was set by a resident of Kiev, who declared the obligation to pay the personal income tax and military levy in the amount of more than UAH 4.6 billion.
Also, more than 53 thousand Ukrainians have exercised the right to a tax rebate – they will receive UAH 330 million, which is 36 million more than last year.
