Also a high level of support – the balance of more than 80 – have Norway, Latvia, Lithuania and Germany, and more than 88% of respondents are positively appreciating France.
Among the EU countries, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Estonia (Balance over 75) have significant sympathy. Denmark, Finland and the Czech Republic also received mostly positive grades. Poland has 73.5% of positive grades (53.1 balance). Turkey and Romania received a balance of 40 and 28.6, and Slovakia – only 8.3.
Japan (69.8%) received 69.6% of positive and 23% of negative estimates among countries outside Europe (69.8%).
The most negative Ukrainians were expressed to Russia -94.7% of respondents, balance -92.3. Much lower grades were given to Belarus (-76.7) and China (-70.3). Hungary and India have a negative balance of -44.8 and -39.6, respectively.
The survey was conducted by Razumkov Center from September 12 to September 17, 2025 among 1210 respondents from the age of 18. The theoretical sample error does not exceed 2.9%.
Also a new survey showed that most Ukrainians have expressed beliefs that the situation in Ukraine will either get worse next year or remain unchanged. More than half of the respondents said that the country is developing in the wrong or rather wrong direction.
