The average salary in Ukraine has increased by 22% over the last year and reached UAH 25,000, the data of the platform works.ua.
Drivers, sales managers and cooks received the greatest increase, while the budget workers remained with salaries lower than the market.
Among the most sought after professions are the leaders in salary of 35 thousand hryvnias (+27%), drivers – 32 thousand hryvnias (+28%) and cooks – 26.5 thousand hryvnias (+23%). Sellers-consultants, cashiers and barists receive approximately 20-20.5 thousand hryvnias, which is 21% more than last year.
We will remind, the minimum wage now is 8 thousand hryvnias and expected that this summer it will be raised to 10 800 hryvnias to approach it to the real subsistence minimum.
Also, the salaries of civil servants in Ukraine continue to grow and remain significantly higher than the average level in the country.
