The RD4U International Loss Register has opened a new category of claims for loss of housing or residence (A3.3). Now Ukrainians who lost their homes due to war, occupation or were forced to leave can submit a corresponding application.
This was reported by People’s Deputy Olena Shulyak.
Not only owners, but also tenants and those who lived in the housing of relatives or acquaintances can submit an application. According to Shulyak, the Register records losses for future compensations and reparations, while the “eRecovery” program provides financial assistance for the repair or purchase of housing already now.
Earlier, Diya started testing another category of the register – regarding forced departure abroad. The register was created to document damages caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation and to form legal grounds for compensation in the future.
