The center reported the I level of danger (yellow) due to ice and sticking wet snow. At night, you should be most careful in Zhytomyr region and Kyiv region – ice is expected on the roads.
During the day, weather conditions will complicate traffic in northern, central and most southern regions. Special attention is needed in the Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions – icy roads can be particularly dangerous here.
In the west of Ukraine, rain and a strong, sometimes stormy wind from the west are forecast. In other regions, wet snow will prevail, in places with sticking, which can also lead to ice on sidewalks and highways.
The temperature at night in the country will vary from 0 to -5 degrees, during the day – from -3 to +3 degrees. It is warmer in the west: at night +1 — +3 degrees, during the day +3 — +6.
As forecasters note, “such weather conditions can complicate the work of energy, construction and utility companies, as well as traffic.”
