During the week, 3632 couples were officially issued in Ukraine from 20 to 26 June 2025.
Such statistics were published by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
Despite the difficult conditions of martial law, Ukrainians continue to create new families and believe in a common future.
The capital has traditionally left the leader in the number of weddings – 834 marriages have been registered in Kiev. In the second place is the Dnipropetrovsk region with an indicator of 315 couples, which confirms the high activity of the region in the field of family relations.
The three leaders were closed by the Odesa region with 250 new spouses.
A considerable number of marriages were also recorded in the Lviv region – 247 couples and Kharkiv – 225 couples. The Kyiv region took sixth place with the result of 183 marriages.
The Poltava region (144 couples), Vinnytsia (125), as well as Zaporizhzhya and Zhytomyr regions – 114 pairs each.
The smallest number of weddings was registered in the frontal regions. Donetsk region – only 29 marriages, and Kherson – only 10.
Data on the Luhansk region, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol are absent from the occupation of these territories.
Interestingly, compared to the first week of June this year, the number of marriages increased by almost a thousand – then 2708 marriages were registered. This testifies to the positive dynamics and desire of Ukrainians to formalize relations even in the conditions of war.
At the same time, the total statistics of 2024 shows a decline: 150 210 marriages were concluded, which is 19% less than 2023.
