Ukrainian defense forces have successfully struck a Russian landing craft in Crimea, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The attack occurred on February 12, 2026, near the settlement of Novoozerny, located in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea.
In addition to the naval vessel, the Ukrainian military reported that on the same day, a radar station, identified as RSP-10, was hit in the vicinity of Hvardiyiske, also within occupied Crimea. Furthermore, a communication hub used by Russian forces was targeted near Prymorsk in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. On February 13, a munitions depot belonging to the enemy was struck near Novoeconomichne in the occupied Donetsk region.
The General Staff noted that assessments of enemy losses and the extent of damage inflicted are ongoing. As of now, there has been no response from Russian authorities regarding these claims.
Since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, both Russian regions and territories occupied by Russia have frequently faced drone strikes and artillery attacks. Ukrainian officials emphasize that their forces continue to target military installations on temporarily occupied territories and within Russia itself, aiming to diminish the offensive capabilities of Russian forces.
Ukrainian forces have confirmed a successful strike on a Russian landing craft in Crimea, alongside other military targets in occupied territories. This marks a continuation of Ukraine’s efforts to weaken Russian military capabilities amid ongoing conflict.
