Ukrainian Forces Target Russian Military Factory in Bryansk

On March 10, Ukrainian forces conducted a strike on a military factory in Bryansk, Russia, known for producing critical components for missiles. This operation was confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who received a report from General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commander of Ukraine’s armed forces.

President Zelensky stated, “The Bryansk factory was hit. This facility manufactured control systems for all types of Russian missiles. I commend our armed forces; they did well.” However, he did not provide further details regarding the operation.

The announcement followed the emergence of videos on social media purportedly showing missile strikes in Bryansk. Various Telegram channels claimed that the target of the attack was the “Kreml” factory, which is involved in the production of components for air defense systems.

In contrast, Alexander Bogomaz, the governor of Bryansk Oblast, reported that the strike had allegedly impacted civilian areas, resulting in casualties among local residents. He mentioned that there were both fatalities and injuries.

Ukrainian forces successfully targeted a military factory in Bryansk, Russia, that produces missile components, according to President Zelensky. The operation has raised conflicting reports about civilian casualties from local authorities.
