Ukrainian military forces have reported successful strikes against Russian military infrastructure, aiming to diminish the military and economic capabilities of Russia. These operations occurred overnight on April 9, specifically targeting critical facilities.
One of the significant targets was the “Krymsk” oil pumping station located in Russia’s Krasnodar region. The attack resulted in a fire at the site, and the extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
In addition to the oil facility, Ukrainian forces executed strikes on various military and logistical sites. This included attacks on supply depots in the Mykilske area, a drone storage facility near Orlynskyi, and a Tor M1 surface-to-air missile system in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region. Furthermore, a logistics depot in Perevalsk and an ammunition storage site in the Trodovyi area of the Luhansk region were also hit.
Ukrainian defense forces have indicated their commitment to continue operations aimed at reducing the offensive capabilities of Russian forces and countering Russian aggression against Ukraine.
The “Krymsk” oil pumping station, which was struck, is part of a broader network of oil infrastructure. It is managed by the Krasnodar regional office of main oil pipelines, which falls under the jurisdiction of the company “Chornomortransnafta.” This facility plays a crucial role in transporting oil and petroleum products through major pipelines to the port of Novorossiysk and local refineries.
Ukrainian forces have conducted targeted strikes on Russian military infrastructure, including an oil pumping station in Krasnodar. These actions are part of ongoing efforts to weaken Russia's military capabilities amid the ongoing conflict.
