Ukrainian security forces, in collaboration with the 1st Separate Center of Drone Systems, have conducted a second attack this month on the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant, a significant industrial facility in the Luhansk region.
This plant is reportedly utilized by occupying forces to support their military production efforts. Its output is supplied to the Russian Uralvagonzavod, which manufactures military equipment for the Russian army, including T-90M tanks and Msta-S howitzers.
After pinpointing the location of critical production facilities at the plant, drone strikes were executed using FP-2 drones from Fire Point. The assault resulted in damage to blast furnaces, essential production workshops, distillation columns, gas pipelines, and electrical substations that are vital for the plant’s operations. Consequently, the plant has ceased operations due to the inflicted damage.
The Security Service of Ukraine emphasized their commitment to systematically reducing the enemy’s capabilities in the military-industrial sector.
Ukrainian forces have targeted the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant, a key asset for Russian military production, marking a significant escalation in their efforts to disrupt enemy supply chains. The attack has led to major operational disruptions at the facility, halting its production capabilities.
