Ukrainian Forces Launch Offensive in Zaporizhzhia Region

Ukrainian special forces have initiated a series of offensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia region, with intense fighting reported near Stepnohirske.

According to military intelligence, the “Artan” unit, in collaboration with other divisions of the Defense Forces, executed a comprehensive operation aimed at regaining control over strategic positions.

As a result of these efforts, Ukrainian troops have:

  • Regained control over key positions;
  • Improved their tactical standing along the front;
  • Eliminated enemy assault groups.

During the operation, Ukrainian forces targeted concentrations of Russian personnel and equipment, resulting in the elimination of dozens of Russian soldiers and establishing fire control over vital logistical routes.

Military intelligence reports indicate that strikes on logistical hubs and communication nodes have hampered Russian assaults in the area.

Commander Viktor Torkotyuk, known by the call sign “Titan,” stated that the operation is being conducted in close coordination with other defensive units.

“These actions have created a stable foothold for further clearing of the settlement and ultimately driving the enemy out,” he said.

He emphasized that one of the primary objectives remains preventing any breakthrough by Russian forces toward the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia.

Military intelligence confirmed that offensive actions around Stepnohirske are ongoing, with assault groups operating under the support of artillery, heavy strike drones, and other firepower.

Ukrainian special forces have launched a significant offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region, successfully regaining control over strategic positions and disrupting Russian logistics. The operation, ongoing near Stepnohirske, aims to prevent enemy advances toward Zaporizhzhia.
