Ukrainian Defense Forces Strike Key Russian Military Assets

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully targeted a Russian combat boat, an air defense system, and several command posts in a series of strikes aimed at diminishing the offensive capabilities of Russian forces.

According to a statement from the Ukrainian military, operations were conducted on March 7 and into the night of March 8, focusing on military sites in temporarily occupied territories as well as within Russia itself.

Among the significant hits was the destruction of the Pantsir-S1 air defense system and a BK-16 landing craft near Novoozernoye in Crimea. The full extent of the damage and casualties is still being assessed.

Additionally, Ukrainian forces targeted multiple command centers used by Russian troops. The strikes included:

  • A drone command post in the vicinity of Krasnosilskyi, Crimea;
  • A drone command facility in Dunaika, Belgorod region, Russia;
  • A drone command post near Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia region;
  • A drone command center in Selidove, Donetsk region.

Further, command and observation posts in Lower Rohachyk, Novopetrykivka, Volnovakha, and Selidove, all located in occupied territories, were also struck. The overall impact and further details regarding the damage inflicted are still being clarified.

Ukrainian forces have executed a series of strikes against Russian military assets, including a combat boat and air defense systems, as part of efforts to weaken the enemy's operational capabilities. The extent of the damage and casualties is currently under assessment.
