In the fields of the International Conference on Recovery of Ukraine URC-2025 in Rome, Ukraine signed a financial agreement with a European investment bank worth € 134 million. The document was concluded by Viceremier-Minister of Ukraine’s restoration Alexei Kuleb and Vice president Eyib Teresa Chervinskaya.
The funds will be directed for the repair and construction of critical transport infrastructure – roads, bridges and logistics units in increased load regions. Particular attention will be paid to areas that provide access to medical, humanitarian and administrative services. The project will be implemented in cooperation with the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development.
“€ 134 million is a contribution to real changes for people. Infrastructure restoration is access to medicine, safety, normal life. And this is the economic stability of the country, ”Kuleba said.
In addition to signing the agreement, he met with EIB President Nadia Calvino. The parties discussed the expansion of cooperation, including the launch of housing programs, funding for border infrastructure and creating a grant mechanism to support low -income communities.
The European Investment Bank is one of Ukraine’s main financial partners in the field of infrastructure, housing, energy and development of local self -government.
