On October 1, Ukraine received from the European Union a tranche of 4 billion euros under the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA).

In total, within the ERA, the Ministry of Finance has already attracted 14 billion euros out of EUR 18.1 billion, the rest of the funds are expected by the end of 2025.
Funding will be directed to the priority expenditures of the state budget – in the social and military spheres, as well as to restore.
Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko stressed that since February 2022 the EU has become the largest direct budget assistance donor to Ukraine, providing 62.5 billion euros.
The Italian government listed the first EUR25 million tranche for the restoration of Ukraine’s energy system as part of a joint initiative with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The total cost of the project is EUR200 million.
