The President emphasized that Ukraine remains one of the world’s largest food security donors.

And we keep this our meaning despite everything. Despite such a colonial challenge from Russia. This war is a war against the lives of Ukrainians, against our people, our families. I want to remind you that the full-scale Russian invasion began, in particular, with the blockade of Ukrainian ports by the Russian fleet. It started with this. And Russia understood very well what the consequences would be from this,” he added.

Zelenskyi also emphasized the importance of further cooperation between Ukraine and the world to protect food security and the security of supplies of other critical goods.

On September 16, The Wall Street Journal wrote that Russia and its partners sold stolen grain from the occupied Ukrainian territories for almost $1 billion on the black market.

On September 21, the Prosecutor General’s Office announced that the losses from the appropriation of Ukrainian grain by Russia exceed 30 billion hryvnias, but this amount is not final.
