Transfer of watches in Ukraine for winter and summer has been going on for almost four decades – on the last Sunday of October and the last Sunday of March. This is regulated by the Cabinet of Ministers of May 13, 1996 No. 509 “On the procedure for calculating time in the territory of Ukraine”.
Last July, the Verkhovna Rada approved a law that canceled the seasonal time, leaving only winter in Ukraine. 261 MPs were supported by the relevant legislative initiative.
In August, the law was sent to President Vladimir Zelensky, but he did not sign it.
