Ukraine returned eight more children and teenagers from the territories temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.
This was reported by Andrii Yermak.
According to Yermak, the Russian security forces almost took the one-and-a-half-year-old boy away from his mother after they found contact with a Ukrainian soldier in her phone.
A seventeen-year-old girl witnessed the beatings and interrogations of her relatives when Russian soldiers broke into their home.
Sixteen-year-old and thirteen-year-old sisters were forced to study according to the Russian curriculum, harassed for the Ukrainian language, and forcibly recruited into the so-called “dvizhenia прихов” – an organization that prepares children to serve in the army of the aggressor state.
The father hid the ten-year-old boy at home for many years to protect him from forced study in a Russian school.
Yermak noted that all returned children receive the necessary assistance, renew their documents and gradually return to normal life.
“Thank you to Save Ukraine, Helping to Leave, the United SBU Center for the Coordination of the Search and Release of Prisoners of War and other partners who are helping to save our children. We are fulfilling the president’s task to return all Ukrainian children home,” added the head of the OP.
We will remind you that Ukrainians without a Russian passport are equated with “illegal migrants” on the TOT.
Russians also check students’ phones in schools at the TOT of Ukraine.
