This decision is a logical continuation of steps to strengthen Ukraine’s national security in a full -scale war with Russia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine explained that the suspension of obligations under the treaty was the next step after leaving the Ottawa Convention on Anti -Present Mines.
The contract was signed in 1990 and provided for restrictions on the number of combat aircraft and shock helicopters for the participating countries.
We will remind, because of participation in the Convention on the Prohibition of Anti -President Mins (Ottawa Convention) Ukraine was in an uneven situation, because Russia did not sign it.
Ukraine and the United States have also signed a joint venture agreement.
