The Ukrainian president reported that meeting with representatives of the Turkish government and business was the result of previous agreements with Turkish President Recep Taiip Erdogan in Ankara. Zelensky emphasized the importance of the presence of a Turkish business in Ukraine, noting that the state values it, as well as assistance and support, including the supply of Baractares.
“Today we have discussed efforts to approach just and long peace, development of bilateral relations, opportunities for cooperation in the field of production of different types of drones and participation of Turkish companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine,” the head of Ukraine emphasized.
He also noted that Kyiv was considering Turkey as one of the strategic partners, as well as one of the partners on security guarantees.
According to him, Ukraine is ready to ratify the Free Trade Agreement with Turkey during the future visit of President Erdogan.
Recall that Turkish President Recep Taiip Erdogan expressed his hope that Russia will demonstrate a constructive approach to the US initiative on the 30-day ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense has declared a willingness to deploy troops in Ukraine as needed to ensure peace.
