According to Makeyev, each system consists of three medium -range launches (SLM) and two short range (SLS), which together form a full -fledged PPO complex.
With regard to Patriot systems, the ambassador said that the number of expected complexes is constantly changing. Initially, Kiev asked for two systems, after which the figure of five sounded, but in fact Ukraine needs ten or more such installations. This is a total support pool from European countries.

At the same time, Germany no longer discloses information about new supplies of weapons to Ukraine after the arrival of the Friedrich Merz government, and official Kiev also does not disclose German assistance details.
Ukraine has already received three new Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems from Germany as part of the new US and NATO program aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s air defense.
Ukraine has already received seven Iris-T anti-aircraft missile complexes from Germany, and the eighth system is being prepared for transmission.
