Ukraine has imposed sanctions against the Russian company Rosatom through the occupation of nuclear objects

Ukrainian sanctions against the Russian energy company Rosatom were introduced at the initiative of the Ministry of Energy through the seizure of nuclear facilities in the territory of Ukraine. The Ministry of Energy reports that the restrictions have been applied to 18 individuals and 17 legal entities that are involved in the attempts of illegal integration of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, as well as the occupation of the Chornobyl NPP. Ukrainian sanctions against the Russian energy company Rosatom were introduced at the initiative of the Ministry of Energy through the seizure of nuclear facilities in the territory of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Energy reports that the restrictions have been applied to 18 individuals and 17 legal entities that are involved in the attempts of illegal integration of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, as well as the occupation of the Chornobyl NPP.

It is noted separately that these sanctions are agreed with restrictive measures of international partners and cover key areas-energy, the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, as well as international networks of intermediaries and logistics companies that contribute to bypassing sanctions.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has introduced new personal and sectoral sanctions against 35 individuals and legal entities related to Rosatom State Corporation and Energy Companies of the Russian Federation.

Recall, Ukraine Prepared Three sanctions against the Russian Federation one of them has already been applied is sanctions against captains of the Russian shadow fleet.
