President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has informed about it, emphasizing that the protection of Ukrainians remains unchanged priority.
“On the eve of the active actions of the United States on the Nuclear Program Objects in Iran, Ukrainian diplomats and GURs carried out an important stage of evacuation. 176 people were taken out of Israel to Egypt, and evacuation from Iran to Azerbaijan is also evacuated, ”the Head of State said in his Telegram.
Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga reported effective coordination of Ukrainian diplomats in the region and interacting with partners. Among the evacuees are not only Ukrainians, but also citizens of Moldova, Latvia, Estonia, Azerbaijan and the United States.
Zelensky instructed the Foreign Ministry and intelligence to continue the evacuation measures and take everything necessary to guarantee the security of Ukrainians and allies in the area of aggravation of the conflict.
