During the next Ramstein session, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denis Shmigal announced three key requests to international partners.
According to RBC-Ukraine, Ukraine asks to urgently provide weapons, including PATROT and PAK-3 air defense systems, as well as ammunition to protect civilian objects from Russian attacks.
The second request concerned funding. Schmigal said that it requires $ 6 billion to close this year’s procurement shortage. These funds, he said, will allow to produce more drones, including FPV and interceptors to fight Shahmed.
The third request concerns financial support in 2026. Ukraine has called on partners to put appropriate expenditures in their budgets now, in particular through a program of safe loans.
