According to the State Tax Service, a ship that exported Ukrainian grain from the occupied Crimea illegally arrested in the Black Sea. The detention operation was performed by the State Border Guard and the SBU.
The investigation found that at the end of 2024 the ship delivered about 5 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat from the port of Sevastopol, which was taken out of the temporarily occupied part of the south of Ukraine.
To hide the true origin of the cargo, the ship went under the flag of one of the Asian countries, and this is how the “shadow fleet” of the Russian Federation works.
During the search, navigation equipment, documents and other evidence of involvement in illegal transportation were seized.
“The ship is now arrested, the crew has been transferred for procedural actions. The pre -trial investigation is ongoing, ”the border guards explained.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kiastutis Budris stated that the next, 17th package of sanctions of the European Union against Russia may include Russian Rosatom, exports of Russian liquefied gas and shadow fleet of the Russian Federation.
