The leader of the “Fatherland” parliamentary faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, who is suspected of offering illegal benefits to people’s deputies of Ukraine, said that she intends to appeal the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HCC) regarding a preventive measure in the form of bail.
She informed journalists about this after the court session.
“I wanted to make sure that the court could be impartial, independent, really fair, and that it would simply say that this is not evidence, but garbage. What will he say that there is no need to announce any preventive measure as a last resort – under my personal obligation,” Tymoshenko said.
The politician confirmed that she will file an appeal against this decision.
“We will prove again that everything that is being done is political killing and political massacre on the eve of the elections,” she added.
When asked whether she plans to post bail, Tymoshenko replied: “For now, we will appeal.” At the same time, if the appellate body does not change the decision, she intends to turn to friends and colleagues for help. The politician also reminded that her bank accounts are currently blocked.
The prosecutor asked VACS to choose a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of UAH 50 million. At the same time, judge Vitaly Dubas determined the amount of bail at the level of UAH 33 million.
In addition, the suspect was charged with a number of procedural duties: to come to the NABU detective or the court upon every summons, not to leave the borders of the Kyiv region, to inform about a change of place of residence or work, to submit documents for traveling abroad. The court also forbade Tymoshenko to communicate with a number of people’s deputies, in particular with Igor Kopytin (“Servant of the People”), regarding the circumstances described in the complaint.
The court ordered Yulia Tymoshenko’s preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of over 33 million hryvnias.

Prosecutors are asking the High Anti-Corruption Court (HCC) to impose a preventive measure on People’s Deputy Yulia Tymoshenko in the form of a bail of ₴50 million, as well as a number of obligations, including wearing an electronic bracelet.
