Under the procedural leadership of the Fastiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kyiv region, it was revealed and reported suspicion to the cohabitants of preparing for a terrorist act and the illegal production of explosives (Part 1 of Article 14, Part 2 of Article 258, Part 2 of Article 263-1 of ).
According to the investigation, in February 2025, 27-year-old residents of one of the villages of the Obukhiv district of Kyiv region through the Telegram messenger agreed for the monetary reward to execute the special task.
At the instruction of the “customer”, the man and the woman made an explosive at their place of residence and prepared for the terrorist act. They were supposed to lay the explosive in a stipulated place in administrative buildings in the Kyiv region. For this they were promised to pay about $ 5,000.
During the search, the suspects removed the explosive, the components of the explosive device and mobile phones with evidence of the illegal activity.
Law enforcement officers detained the suspects in the order of Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. They are currently chosen by pre -detention precautions without determining the amount of collateral.
The pre -trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
