Two more countries joined the drones for Ukraine

The ranks of drones, which provides military assistance to Ukraine in the field of unmanned technologies and systems, have increased. Belgium and Turkey were included in the coalition on July 3. The ranks of drones, which provides military assistance to Ukraine in the field of unmanned technologies and systems, have increased. Belgium and Turkey were included in the coalition on July 3.

“At a meeting of the Leading Committee of the International Coalition on Drone in Riga, the desire of Belgium and Turkey was supported to join the International Drone Coalition, headed by Latvia and the United Kingdom,” the report said.

The ministry added that the coalition, thus, now has 20 countries that provide Ukraine with military assistance in this area. In 2025, the coalition members pledged to allocate € 2.75 billion in support of Ukraine and brought 180 million to the Joint Procurement Fund, headed by the United Kingdom.

“These funds are intended for centralized purchases of drones with a coalition of drones, as well as for the national support of each country of the coalition,” the ministry added.

The drone coalition was established in February 2024 as part of the contact group on defense of Ukraine (Ramstein format) and Ukraine-NATO Council. The task of the coalition is to provide Ukraine with radio -electronic fighting and intelligence systems, as well as drones.

As of July 2025, the coalition includes:

  • Latvia;
  • Great Britain;
  • Ukraine;
  • Australia;
  • Belgium;
  • Czech Republic;
  • Denmark;
  • France;
  • Estonia;
  • Italy;
  • New Zealand;
  • Canada;
  • Lithuania;
  • Luxembourg;
  • Netherlands;
  • Norway;
  • Poland;
  • Turkey;
  • Germany;
  • Sweden.
  • We will remind, Belgium and Turkey have expressed their intention to join the international “coalition of drones” for Ukraine, headed by Latvia and Britain.

    Earlier, Sweden’s Defense Minister Paul Johnson signed the access to a coalition of drones on behalf of Stockholm at NATO summit in Washington.

    The Netherlands also joined the International Drone Coalition for Ukraine. The country will provide our country with advanced drone technologies to strengthen the offensive opportunities in the war against the Russian Federation.
