US President-elect Donald Trump’s representative, Keith Kellogg, has stated that he aims to find a way to resolve Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine within 100 days of his inauguration on January 20.
He said this in an interview with the Fox News channel on Wednesday, January 8.
According to Kellogg, both he and Trump know that they have little time to find a way to resolve the war.
“People need to understand that he is [Дональд Трамп] is not trying to give something to Putin or the Russians, he is actually trying to save the sovereignty of Ukraine,” Trump’s representative believes.
Kellogg believes that Trump will be able to offer “acceptable” decision to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin.
“I would like to set a goal, both personally and professionally, I would say let’s set it at a hundred days,” he added.
On January 7, during a press conference, Trump said that he hopes to end Russia’s war against Ukraine in six months. However, later, the former ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Valery Chaly, stated that the journalist’s question was not about the end of the war, but about a meeting with Putin, and it was about this possible meeting that Trump’s answer about six months.
