US President Donald Trump wants Ukraine and Russia to end the war and return to peaceful forms of interaction — trade, travel and cultural exchange.
This was stated by the Vice President of the United States JD Vance.
According to him, Trump advocates that countries “stop killing each other” and move to cooperation.
Vance emphasized that the American president wants to see a world in which people do business, not war.
“Why don’t Ukraine and Russia stop killing each other and start trading? Why war, if you can travel, cooperate, exchange culture?” he quoted Trump’s position.
The vice president also added that any reduction in tensions in the world would be good for Americans, so Trump “will continue to push for an end to wars.”
Elina Valtonen, who heads the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and currently heads the OSCE, strongly criticized the plan proposed by the US to end the war in Ukraine.
It will be recalled that the US President’s secret “peace plan” for Ukraine caused a scandal in Congress.
Also, the “peace plan” for Ukraine envisages the rejection of NATO and foreign troops.
