During a summit in Florida, U.S. President Donald Trump asserted that substantial advancements have been made in the ongoing confrontation with Iran. He stated, “You have probably seen that we have made huge progress.” Trump emphasized that during his initial term, he revitalized the U.S. military, enhancing its strength.
The president noted that these military capabilities are currently being utilized in the context of U.S. actions against Iran. He remarked, “There is no army like ours on Earth, and we are doing very well in Iran. You see the results.” Trump claimed that U.S. forces have inflicted serious damage on Iran’s military infrastructure.
He elaborated, “We have destroyed their air force, disrupted their communications, and all telecommunications have disappeared. I don’t know how they communicate, but I think they will come up with something. They are not doing very well, and they are bad people.”
The military operations involving the U.S. and Israel against Iran commenced on February 28, resulting in the deaths of Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In retaliation, Tehran launched strikes against Israel and U.S. military bases in the Persian Gulf, with attacks also impacting civilian targets in various countries.
Trump previously indicated that the U.S. possesses resources for a prolonged conflict, asserting that negotiations with Iran are no longer viable. Meanwhile, an advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mohammad Moghbeir, stated that Tehran is prepared to continue its war against the U.S. and Israel indefinitely.
