Testing practical skills on the post of the head of the Bab
On April 16, three stages of the competition were held for the post of director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine. It is a practical task for professional practical skills, practical task for organizational and leadership qualities, as well as personal testing. All 16 candidates who were admitted to test took part.
Tasks for professional practical skills covered the topics of law and economy. The task included a hypothetical situation that could have happened to the Economic Security Bureau, as well as the question of the situation of the legal and economic bloc.

On April 17, the applicant for the post of director of the Beb SBU employee Igor Shepetin asked to supplement his answer. He referred to a technical mistake through which part of his answer was not published. However, the competition commission rejected his request. After all, some of the members of the commission were on testing and did not notice technical problems, and during the test the candidates did not declare technical problems.
Practical Skill Test results – rating candidates of Bab
To evaluate the test results, the Commission on Election of the Director of the Bureau of Economic Security has attracted a group of experts. However, which experts or organizations are involved are not specified. The experts gave their recommendations to the commission on how to evaluate the candidates’ answers. The members of the commission got acquainted with the answers and approved the results of the evaluation.

Interview schedule
Further candidates for the post of director of the Bureau of Economic Security are expected individual interviews with the competition commission. The interviews will take place on June 8-10 in Kiev and should be broadcast. For an interview with each candidate stands for one and a half hours. June 8 will communicate with 6 candidates, June 9, also with 6 and 10 June with 4 applicants for the Bab Director.

Each interview will consist of two parts: assessment of compliance with the criteria of integrity and professional competence. In parallel with the candidates, an anti -corruption inspection is conducted, which may result in the competition commission to ask each candidate a question about probable corruption risks at open interview.
Upon completion of the interviews, the competition commission will approve the candidates of the winners who have successfully completed all stages of selection and will submit them for approval of the government.
