Four residents of Chernivtsi district were sentenced to imprisonment for the organization of illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine.

Prosecutors in court proved that the 42-year-old resident of the village of Nizhnyya Sinivtsi together with two residents of Bukivka village established a scheme of illegal transportation of military men to the European Union.
For a cash in the amount of $ 1,500 from the face, they organized the illegal movement of nine men of conscript age to Romania. In particular, they provided a transfer to the village of Tarahans, where they remained for the night, and in the morning they were accompanied by the state border.
According to this scheme, they managed to ship four people. Five more border guards were exposed near the demarcation line.
The organizer was sentenced to 7 years in prison with confiscation of property, and his two accomplices – 3 years of imprisonment to each.
He joined the illegal activity to obtain a profit from the organization of illegal transfer of persons abroad and a 23-year-old resident of the village of Davidivka of Chernivtsi district, who for money provided transportation to Romania, outside checkpoints, 4 men of conscription age. He was detained by law enforcement officers after receiving from one of the clients part of the stipulated amount – 1300 euros.
A citizen was sentenced to 3 years in prison with confiscation of property. All prisoners have applied additional punishments in deprivation of the right to engage in the activities related to the provision of logistics services and confiscation of property.
They are taken into custody in the courtroom.
