Back in the early 2000s, the capital of the United Kingdom, London, was nicknamed Londongrad for its reputation of a platform, comfortable for Russian oligarchs, just rich from the Russian Federation and their capital. However, after the beginning of the Great War, started by Russia against Ukraine, the situation changed.
The shocking personnel of violence and the consequences of the brutal shelling caused by the Army of the aggressor country in Ukraine, in the British media, sanctions of various levels imposed by the government against Russian politicians and business, statements of British leaders and street anti-Russian actions-all this significantly changed the lives of natives from Russia. Some even left the British capital, as the Russian oligarch Michael Friedman did, who, after many years of his life in London, moved to Israel and then to Moscow.
