The court sentenced a 27-year-old man from Vinnytsia who organized a large underground drug laboratory in a private house. He turned out to be a graduate of Vinnytsia School No. 35, who was the winner of the school chemistry Olympiad, and then gained practical knowledge while studying at a university.

According to the investigation, the suspect organized a drug laboratory in a house in Vinnytsia, and sold the manufactured drugs through Telegram. The law enforcement officers estimated that the monthly income of the drug laboratory was about UAH 500,000.
In March 2025, law enforcement officers conducted a special operation to eliminate the underground laboratory. During the search of the underground premises, the police found more than 20 kg of amphetamine, alpha-PVP and mephedrone, more than 100 kg of precursors and almost 300 kg of chemical reagents, as well as laboratory equipment.
According to law enforcement officers, he learned how to work with chemical reagents at a local university at the chemistry department, and before that, a graduate of Vinnytsia School No. 35 was the winner of school chemistry Olympiads.
