The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has decided to call the Parliament of the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov and the Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko to provide important reports.

This was announced by the MP from the Voice faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko should appear in the Verkhovna Rada on June 19 in order to present a detailed report on the preparation of the country for the future heating season and the strategy of procurement of natural gas.

This decision was supported by 168 people’s deputies, demonstrating the seriousness of the parliament to the energy security of the state.

The issue is especially relevant in the conditions of war and the need to ensure stable energy for the population.

At the same time, deputies demand from the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov a report on the current state of affairs with the construction of fortifications throughout the country. 152 MPs voted in favor of this decision.

Fortification problems have become the subject of wide discussion in society and require transparent reporting to parliament.

We will remind, during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada on January 10, Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko called the EU Ambassador to Katarin Marynov “Clerk of the Middle Name”.

We also reported that during the war in Ukraine it is impossible to reduce the number of people’s deputies. To do this, it is necessary to amend the Constitution, and during martial law it is forbidden.
