Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko explained his words for interviewing BBC journalists. He noted that Ukraine can be forced to territorial concessions in exchange for the cessation of war, but our people will never accept the occupation of their country by Russia.

“Apparently, it is necessary to make clarity. In an interview with BBC journalists, I said that Ukraine could be forced to territorial concessions in exchange for the termination of the war. Unfortunately, as we see, such a scenario is quite possible. And today many world politicians and media speak of it. So when I voiced this, I did not open America. And in an interview, I emphasized that the Ukrainian people will never accept the occupation of their country by Russia, ”the mayor of Kiev wrote.
He added that the scenario of territorial concessions contradicts the national interests of Ukraine and against its implementation should be combated to the latter.
“It will demand the superintendent from us and our European partners,” Klitschko added.
Earlier, the mayor Vitaliy Klitschko prepared a proposal to increase the financial assistance of mobilized Kiev.
