Khmelnitsky, Rivne and South Ukrainian NPPs have been recorded.
This is stated in the IAEA report.
“At Ukrainian nuclear power plants (NPPs) – Khmelnitsky, Rivne and South Ukrainian – IAEA specialists continued to monitor nuclear safety. All three stations are still producing electricity, although some blocks are in a state of planned shutdown, and others from time to time have to reduce production, ”the report reads.
It is noted that, for example, at Khmelnitsky NPP, one reactor remained in a state of maintenance and restart, and the production of electricity of the second block was reduced at the request of the network operator for 36 hours early this week.
At the Rivne NPP, the second power unit was switched off this week at the time of maintenance and refueling, and the production of electricity on the third block at the request of the operator was reduced for several days.
Power fluctuations at the South Ukrainian NPP were observed this week.
“The IAEA group reported that 7 drones were found 2 km east of the site on April 17. IAEA specialists – in particular at the Chernobyl site and the South Ukrainian NPP – continued to hear air alarm signals for most days, ”the report said.
Among other things, Raphael Grosssey CEO, CEO, said that agency -based agency specialists (ZPEC) were forced to stay home on Wednesday morning after they heard a loud shooting near the main administrative building where their office is located.
In addition, the IAEA team continued to hear explosions and shooting at different distances from the ZPP almost daily during the last week.
Earlier, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Raphael Grossi stated that the situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP remains unstable.
After the termination of hostilities, the Zaporizhzhia NPP can gradually return to work. Experts predict a complex start -up process, but it is possible.
