The Supreme Anti -Corruption Court (VAKS) granted the claim of the Ministry of Justice and has collected the state income by assets related to Russian senator Sergei Kalashnik. It is about the rights of requirements on two contracts totaling more than 95 million UAH.

The court found that Kalashnik, as a senator of the Council of the Federation of the Russian Federation, actively supports Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. In particular, he voted for the ratification of the “treaties” on the recognition of the so -called “LNR” and “DNR”, as well as for the laws that “legalize” the annexation of the Ukrainian territories.
In addition, it is associated with the production of components for Russian military equipment through the Kostroma Automobile Components.
Wax found that the assets belong to the Cypriot company Lepedan Investments Limited, which is controlled by Kalashnik through nominal owners. State’s income includes:
- the right of claim under the contract for the amount of 288.8 million Russian rubles (about UAH 76.2 million);
- The right to claim under the contract in the amount of 45.2 million Russian rubles (about UAH 19.3 million).
The Court acknowledged that the senator indirectly controls the company through the Georgian LLC “Inventa” and the citizen of Georgia and Israel Yarden Avigdor.
