The official emphasized that the State Tax Service is not related to such newsletters.
He explained that the investment in the sheets contains malicious software, which is activated after opening the PDF file and provides the attackers with remote access to the computer.
Kravchenko recalled that all official e -mail addresses of the STSU must contain the domain name tax.gov.ua after the character @.
“We advise you not to open an attachment in suspicious messages. There are doubts about the origin of the letter – contact the tax, ”the DPS head called.
At the beginning of the year, fraudsters were allegedly sent from the State Tax Service fake letters with contacts, which the addressee had to contact the representative of the department.
