On Monday, November 17, forecasters warned of an increase in dangerous weather conditions in several regions of Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the wind will increase in the west and in some central regions during the day, which has increased the level of meteorological danger.
Experts urge residents of these regions to monitor the forecast more closely and avoid unnecessary risks on the street.
The most difficult situation is expected in the western regions, as well as in the Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr regions, where strong gusts of wind are forecast.
Forecasters warn that the wind speed will reach 15-20 m/s, which is already a threat to poorly secured structures, tree branches and billboards. For these territories, danger level I – “yellow” has been declared, which means a potential danger to the population and infrastructure.
In general, the weather in Ukraine this day will be mostly cloudy, without prolonged sunny spells. Moderate rains are expected in the western regions, and even significant precipitation is predicted in places in Transcarpathia.
Forecasters do not predict significant precipitation in the rest of the country, so the weather will remain relatively dry there, albeit with cloudy skies.
We will remind you that August 27 was the warmest day in the entire history of meteorological observations in Kyiv.
Cloudy weather is also expected in Ukraine on Monday, November 17.
