From 2018 to 2020, Ivan Yuryk was a member of the Supervisory Board, a board member and several months – so -called. Chairman of the Board of Ukrenergo JSC. He graduated from the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv-Mohyla Academy of Ukraine, studied at Harvard University under the Master’s Economy Program and passed a training course on public finances at the John Kennedy School. Among the positions is the chairman of the American Blackstone American Investment Company, Head of the Minister of Finance, Deputy Director of the Office of Investigation and Support of Investments of the Government of Ukraine Ukraineinvest.
Brecht has been working at the Kiev HPP since 1999, and later began to work at Ukrenergo, heading its separate unit “Scientific and Project Center for Development of the UES of Ukraine”. Then he held, in particular, the position of head of the prospective development of the central power system. Since June 2022, the NEC member has coordinated the issue of operation and development of the network, the development of plans for the development of the transmission system for the long -term and short -term perspective, as well as the activities of the BP “Construction and repair”.
In addition, the candidate has experience in the manager and the head of the dispatching service. In September 2024 he was appointed so -called Chairman of the Board of Ukrenergo.
Zaichenko, who started working at Ukrenergo in 1996, was appointed a board member since November 20, 2024. It, in particular, is responsible for the centralized operational and technological management of the UES of Ukraine, coordination of the parallel work of the UES of Ukraine with the energy connection of ENTSO-E, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted transmission of electricity, compliance with the requirements of energy security of Ukraine.
Ukrenergo noted that Zaichenko has a unique experience of the operational-dispatching department of the energy system of Ukraine in extreme conditions of work: from an isolated mode of work of the UES of Ukraine in the first weeks after a full-scale invasion-to the synchronization of Ukrainian and European energy systems in March 2022.
According to sources, Brecht and Zaichenko are highly qualified and experienced in the management of the energy system, and Yurik has extensive experience in financial matters.
In addition, Artem Martyniuk, Head of Guaranteed Buyer, Artem Nekrasov, a member of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia by October 2024 Anton Mishin, was applied for the competition, including the Ukrainian distribution networks, the head of the Guaranteed Buyer.
The Ukrenergo Supervisory Board announced the competition for the post of chairman of the board on February 5, and the applications were accepted by March 14 inclusive.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine announced a competitive selection for three positions of independent members of the supervisory board of Ukrenergo.
